Early Childhood Field Trip to the Pumpkin Patch!

The Early Childhood classes traveled to Pumpkins Etc. for a field trip. They have been learning about farms and pumpkins. The children enjoyed jumping in the hay, a hay maze, a corn maze and picking pumpkins. They also enjoyed playing with the friendly barn cats.

Farm Day for Mrs. Leigh's Class

Parents, we have had a wonderful week discovering things down on the farm. Today we had another amazing adventure at school. We were lucky enough to have Farmer Trey (Trey Talley) bring farming to school! If you see our building principal, Dr. Hawkins, please give her a huge shout out for allowing us to have this adventure!

Farmer Trey brought a tractor with 8 wheels for us to see and learn about. He was such a good teacher. He lined us each up on a wheel to help us count 1-8. Farmer Trey is currently shelling corn in his field and brought each of us an ear of corn to study and keep as our own. Farmer Trey made sure we knew this corn was not for us to eat but... if you leave it outdoors it will attract friendly squirrels who do love to eat his corn. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as we did our day!

The 2018-2019 Early Childhood class days are Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

There are no Early Childhood classes on Wednesdays.

Friday, October 5 AM session 8:30 - 10:45. PM Session 10:50 - 1:00

Friday, November 2 AM session 8:30 - 10:45. PM Session 10:50 - 1:00

Friday, January 18 AM session 8:30 - 10:45. PM Session 10:50 - 1:00

Thursday, March 21 AM session 8:30 - 10:45. PM Session 10:50 - 1:00

Friday, May 31 AM session 8:30 - 10:45. PM Session 10:50 - 1:00

Note: Buses will be on a different schedule on early dismissal days.
