Mrs. Joelie McCrary

I'm Joelie McCrary and I have been teaching at Smithville High School since 2013. I have a bachelor's degree from the University of Missouri - Columbia in Secondary Social Studies Education and a master's degree in Education Administration from William Woods University. At Smithville High School, I teach American History and AP Psychology. When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family. I have two kids who love playing outside, so we spend lots of time at parks and trails.

This year, American History students will be studying events that took place starting in the Reconstruction Era in 1865 to the end of the 20th Century.

This year in AP Psychology, students will be working toward preparing for the AP Psychology Exam. They will cover the objectives outlined by the College Board, which are designed after what students would learn in an introductory college psychology course.
