Children's Mercy Hospital
It truly takes a team to care for children, especially when they are not feeling well. That team includes our world-renowned physicians and nurses, support staff and just as importantly, volunteers. This team supports the needs of our patients, families and staff. You're invited to become part of this caring team.
Whether escorting visitors through the hospital, playing with patients, offering breaks to parents, or pushing the cookie cart to waiting rooms, volunteers provide a special human touch that eases the stress for patients and families through difficult times.
Volunteering not only helps our patients and families, but it also provides volunteers the opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people and make a difference. On top of all that, did you know that volunteering is good for your health and can add longevity to your life?
If you are interested in making a difference in someone's life, become a Children's Mercy volunteer and color our world!
