This is my 17th year in education; 12th year as a School Counselor. Prior to counseling, I enjoyed teaching High School Physical Science and Biology. I have a BSEd in Unified Science and an MS in Counseling, grades K-12. Additionally, I am a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Missouri.
It is my privilege to work with students whose last names begin with the letters A-G. I am happy to assist students in a variety of ways to include course planning, college and career searches, scholarship applications, and social-emotional issues.
I am an educator because I believe in the power of influence we have upon our young people, and it is my desire to see our students reach their fullest potential. Between the ages of 14-18, our students are tasked with making many important decisions. Assisting them in this effort is of the utmost importance and satisfies my desire to help them succeed.
I have two children, one in middle school and one in high school and I enjoy traveling when possible. In addition to spending time with my family and friends, one can usually find me reading about the latest trend in education and self-development or frequenting the gym.
This year I am excited about meeting new students and continuing to develop positive relationships with our current students and families.
