2020-21 marks my 22nd year in the teaching profession. Originally from Savannah, MO, I attended Truman State University. I previously taught in Macon, MO, until arriving at Smithville High School in the fall of 2003. In 2005, I received the Northland Chamber of Commerce Christa MacAuliffe Pioneer in Education Award. Educating students in mathematics is my passion.
I enjoy movies, TV shows, and live theater. So the pandemic has suspended several of my favorite hobbies! I am avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, Missouri Tigers, Truman State Bulldogs, and Smithville Warriors!
I teach Math Analysis and AP Calculus. I also serve as head coach of the Scholar Bowl Team. I will be a 12th grade Warrior Time teacher and I am WARRIOR STRONG! I hope to BE THE ONE for my students this year! We are BETTER TOGETHER!
