Mr. Joe Kleine
I grew up on a family farm, in a very rural community, in Northeast MO. I went to college at Northwest Missouri State University, lived in KC for a couple years, then moved to St. Louis, where I taught at Ladue School District for 9 years. Life brought me back to the KC area where I enjoy a little more of the country life with my wife and 2 daughters. I enjoy fishing, 4-wheeler riding, movies, and all things technology.
I am excited to be in Smithville School District as a HS PLTW teacher, HS Tech Facilitator, Anime Club Sponsor, and S.W.A.T. Robotics Coach. At NWMSU, I received a BS: Math Education and a MSEd: Instructional Technology. Later, I became MO Certified in Technology Education and Nationally certified in PLTW: Introduction to Engineering Design (IED), Principles of Engineering (POE), and Digital Electronics (DE).
This year I teach Warrior Tech Support, IED, and AutoCAD/Beginning Programming. My extra duty jobs include being a Technology Facilitator, Sponsor for Anime Club, and the Head S.W.A.T. Robotics Coach.
My Warrior Time will be with 11th-grade students who will "Stay Strong" and support each other through the year.
This year, I am excited about being full time at SHS and becoming more integrated into the Warrior Family.
