My name is Danielle Martin and this is my fourth year teaching and my third year in the Smithville School District. I am a native of Springfield, Missouri where I graduated from Missouri State University. In my free time, I foster kittens for The Humane Society of Greater Kansas City. I am currently working on my master's of fine arts in creative writing through Lindenwood.
I have always had a passion for English and the power of writing. In college, I enjoyed learning about African American literature, fiction writing, and literary analysis. My goal is to transfer my passion for reading and writing to my students. This year, I will be teaching all journalism, speech/debate, and creative writing classes.
I will be a 9th grade warrior time teacher and I am BUILDING STRONG!
