Mrs. Linley Tate-Ioanis

Hello everyone! My name is Linley Tate-Ioanis, and I am very excited to join the Warrior family this year! For the past six years, I was the K-12 Vocal Music Teacher at Wellington-Napoleon, a small school district located just north of Odessa, and west of Lexington. I am originally from Independence, and I am a 2009 graduate of William Chrisman High School. When I was a student at Chrisman, I was actively involved in many activities, but my favorites were choir and theater. I was also the starting pitcher on Chrisman’s varsity softball team for all four years. I then attended Avila University for my undergraduate degree, and I was awarded a scholarship to play softball there.

My husband Dakota and I recently bought our first house, where we live with our five fantastic felines. We are both huge Mizzou, Royals, and Chiefs fans, and we go to as many games as we possibly can. My husband and I also love to travel as much as possible. In the last couple of years, we have been lucky enough to visit Australia, England, and France, and this past summer, we spent some time on the shores of Lake Superior. I am so excited to get to know everyone in Smithville, and I can’t wait to have a spectacular school year!
