Hello everyone, my name is Jacob Taylor. 

I have been teaching since 2018, and with Smithville schools since the 2020 school year.

I graduated from the University of Missouri in 2009 with a B.S. In Biological Science and a B.A. in Classics. After graduating, I workded in both the the research industry and medical field for 8 years. Following that, I decided to pursue a career in education and obtained my Masters in Teaching from the University of Central Missouri in 2020.

I am currently located at Smithville High School where I teach PLTW Principles of Biomedical Science, PLTW Human Body Systems, and General Biology. 

I look forward to getting to know all of you and becoming a part of the Smithville family!
