Hello, my name is Kiefer Smith. I am excited to say that this is my second year at Smithville. I am looking forward to the excitement of a new school year and new faces from the freshman class. The 9th grade Physical Science will talk a lot about the basics of chemistry and physics throughout the school year. 

 

A little bit about me. This is my second year at Smithville High School teaching Physical Science and I am ready to go for a fun environment filled with learning and hands-on experiences. The class will have plenty of labs to help the students understand and comprehend different topics within each unit. I also have a brand new family. I was recently married over the summer and extended my family to 3 amazing step kids and my amazing son. I am looking forward to a great life with all of them. I also coach for the school district as a high school assistant track coach. I take care of the vertical jumps (pole vault and high jump). Last year was a great year with a great group of athletes who progressed really well and the younger ones showed great promise for the future of the program. I am looking forward to a great new track season with all of my returning athletes and any new athlete to come and be a part of the track program.
