The Board approved the following meal prices for the 2022-2023 school year to comply with the Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act 2010 at all grade levels:
- Student Breakfast: $2.20
- Student Lunch: $2.70
- Extra Milk: $0.45
- Adult Breakfast: $2.70
- Adult Lunch: $3.70
**Just a reminder that the Middle School offers multiple ala carte items for sale. Please make sure your student knows and follows your expectations on the ala carte purchases before school starts.**
Smithville School District understands that these are trying times for everyone. With this in mind, we want to remind you that we participate in the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs. This allows families the opportunity to apply for free and reduced price meal benefits. Families who think they might qualify for free and reduced meals should apply for these benefits. If your child is eligible for free and reduced meal benefits and you apply, you can also receive additional benefits like activity scholarships, free screenings, school supplies and more.
Please log in to your Parent Portal in PowerSchool, on the left side of the page, click on forms. One of the optional forms is our Application for Free and Reduced Price School Meals. One application will cover all dependents listed for the current school year. If you qualified last year, you will need to reapply this year if you have not already done so.
