Valentine's Day Party

Valentine's Day Party

On February 14th we will celebrate with a PTO sponsored Valentine's Day party. Please be aware that all snacks served at school on this day will have to meet the safe snack guidelines. Students will follow a special schedule on this day, and lunches will not follow the regular schedule. Parents are invited to sign up at the link below to volunteer to help make this event successful!

We are running to help our school! Eagle Heights Elementary's Fun Run is coming in February! This year's Fun Run theme is MIND SPARK MYSTERY LAB! The following events will take place with the Fun Run:

3rd- 6th Grade finished up their basketball unit right before Winter break. Students learned skills like dribbling, shooting, passing, defending, and rebounding. Students also participated in 2 vs. 2 basketball games and learned to work together with a teammate. Students will begin their second round of fitness testing over the course of the next few weeks. Continue to remind students to wear the correct shoes on PE days!

K-2 PE

K-2nd Grade finished up their dance unit right before break. Students got to dance along to Just Dance videos and also got to dance with their classmates while coming up with a collaborative dance routine. K-2nd has started to do some parachute activities and will be working on cup stacking and fitness stations over the next few weeks.

We have been busy in the Innovation Lab.

K-1 students have been working on

5th Grade students have begun their Tiny House project, partnering with the Veteran’s Community Project. They are creating blueprints for a Tiny House that they will create in the Art Lab. We will be auctioning these off at the end of the year to give back to the VCP.

6th Grade has begun working on their passion project. They are choosing a passion in which they want to make a change or help invent a solution to a problem for.



K/1 Music Program- Save the Date

Pencils sharpened in their case. Bells are ringing, let’s make haste. School’s beginning, dreams to chase. ALL are welcome here.

We will be reading the book “All Are Welcome Here” this month during our counseling lessons. Younger students will learn how we are the same, yet different. They will learn how we can still be friends and be kind to one another. Older students will learn that we may have differences, but we should always show respect and make others feel safe from teasing because of their differences.

Winter Warming Station at EHE!

EHE's Winter Warming Station is located by the recess doors. Students are free to use and take home. They do not have to return.

The new year is full of exciting things starting with Hooked on Books. Is a gently-used children’s book drive appropriate for infants to 14-year-olds. The Book drive will run from January 28th through February 8th. We will have collection containers located at EHE. More information to come.



The library is a busy place to help with the traffic we are trying to raise money to purchase iPads, so that we can have student self checkout stations. These iPads will allow students to checkin and checkout books independently. If you would like to help us with this please donate at any amount helps! Thank you in advance!
