The Smithville School District Board of Education approved the 2024-2025 School Calendar at the March meeting. Here is information we want to highlight for our families:
The first day of school is Tuesday, August 20, 2024.
Smithville School District will no longer have late-start Wednesday. School start times will be the same each day of the week.
Inclement weather days will not be made up. We will have 3 traditional inclement weather days (no school, no virtual learning); for any additional inclement weather days, we will utilize AMI (Alternative Methods of Instruction; i.e. virtual learning) days.
The guaranteed last day of school is May 22, 2025, which is before Memorial Day.
