Our annual vision and hearing screens for all 3rd graders, 5th graders and new students to the Smithville School district is scheduled to start towards the end of October. The screenings only take a few seconds using a Spot Vision Screener machine that can test up to six different visual abnormalities, as well as a Maico Ero Scan that tests for normal baseline hearing.
