Today was a total blast! Our third graders headed down to the rodeo for a day of spurs, saddles, and sunshine. They had so much fun learning about Western heritage and seeing the action up close. Such a memorable experience for our students!

Through our Tribe Ticket program, students earn rewards for showing leadership and kindness in the classroom. Today was "Turn-In Day," where students used their tickets to "purchase" items from the Prize Cart or choose fun experiences with their favorite staff and peers.

Don't worry about cooking this Monday! 🥪 Bring the family to the Maple PTO Bike Rodeo on April 20th (5–8 PM). It’s a free event with bike tune-ups and games. Grab dinner at the Chick-fil-A food truck while you're there—10% of your meal helps support the PTO! 🚲✨

The Warriors Explore K-8 Summer School is BACK and better than ever! ✨ We’ve revamped our program to a 6-hour day (8:15 AM - 2:15 PM) that is just right for learning without the burnout. The morning will be filled with academic deep-dives into ELA & Math to get a head start on next year. In the afternoon we will have hands-on exploration and enrichment activities! 30 minutes of physical activity daily + weekly attendance incentives.

From mastering marketplace concepts to exploring future careers, these students are well on their way to becoming financially savvy pros. Our mission is to provide hands-on learning that sticks for a lifetime, and seeing the "aha!" moments today was priceless.
Huge thanks to our incredible staff and volunteers for making this happen. The kids had an absolute blast! 🚀

This March, our RISE focus is all about being Super Collaborators. To put our skills to the test, we held a high-energy staff vs. student challenge during our assembly! It was a blast watching everyone work together to crush the goal.
PBIS Focus: Kindness
Kindness is the name of the game this month! We are officially tracking our building-wide PBIS goal on the Kindness Board.
How it works: When a student is caught being kind, they receive a "Kindness Kudo."
The Result: Those kudos go right up on our board for the whole school to see!

We then enjoyed a meaningful family assembly, followed by an amazing fifth grade showcase that highlighted our students’ talents and growth.

Last night, our amazing PTO hosted a RISE-themed engagement night focused on I – Innovative! We loved seeing our Maple families work together to create structures using spaghetti and marshmallows so much creativity and fun all around. Congratulations to all of our winners!
Last week, we were excited to welcome some special visitors from SHS! The Lakeside Singers performed for our fourth, fifth, and sixth graders, and it was an amazing experience for all. We wrapped up the week with our PBIS Tribe Ticket turn-in and loved seeing so many students redeeming their tickets for fun experiences at Maple, reading with siblings continues to be a favorite! We hope all of our families are staying warm today and getting a great start on their AMI learning.
We’ve had an incredible start to the second semester here at Maple! Last week was packed with celebrations, from our Warrior Breakfast to our Family R.I.S.E. Assembly. Our students also had a blast heading over to SHS to participate with the high school basketball teams! It’s been a week full of school spirit and community. Check out some of our highlights! 🏀✨
