Big smiles at Maple Elementary today! Dr. Jahn and Mrs. Meyer kicked off their classroom visits, partnering with our students to talk all about what it means to be a School Family. Classes across grade levels worked together on special projects to share what makes our school community so supportive. We love seeing our Maple family grow closer every day!

🚗Help us keep traffic flowing smoothly and, most importantly, keep all our Warriors safe during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up! Here is what you need to know:

Morning Drop-Off: 8:30 AM – 8:45 AM (School starts at 8:45 AM!) Afternoon Dismissal: 3:45 PM
🚘 Car Rider Pick-Up & Drop-Off Procedures
Entrance & Exit: Enter and exit the parent loop via Maple Lane using the designated entrance/exit lanes.
Drop-Off (Morning):
Vehicles pull into the north parking lot and unload along the plaza area. Students enter through the top of the ramp/stairs by the car loop.
For safety, students must only exit from the passenger side of the vehicle.
Please pull as far forward as possible to keep the line moving.
Pick-Up (Afternoon):
Students being picked up will be called to the gym first.
Pull forward into the loading zone—a staff member will assist your child into the vehicle.
Placards: Please display your school-issued placard in your front window with your student's first and last name. Anyone without a placard will need to present photo ID.

Welcome to the Warrior Family, Class of 2039!
What a fantastic night at Maple Elementary! We had the absolute best time welcoming our newest little Warriors to campus.
Our incoming Kindergarteners explored the hallways on a fun scavenger hunt, met our wonderful teachers along the way, and scored an awesome yard sign to show off their Warrior School Spirit at home!
To make the evening even sweeter, several of our past Maple families stopped by with younger siblings. We loved catching up and seeing so many familiar faces back in our halls!
We are SO excited for an incredible school year ahead!

Today we celebrated two absolutely wonderful ladies with a surprise retirement party! 🎉❤️
Words cannot fully express how much these two have done for our Warrior Families and how many student lives they have touched and changed for the better over the years. We are truly the lucky ones to have had them here at Maple, and the halls won't be the same without them.

What a fantastic week it’s turning out to be at Maple! Yesterday, our 5th and 6th grade students enjoyed a wonderful Field Day. We are so incredibly grateful to the staff and parents who gave their time and energy to make this day a huge hit for the kids. ❤️
We still have plenty of celebrating left to do this week:

⚾️ Our 1st graders knocked it out of the park today! They took a field trip to The K for an exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour of Kauffman Stadium. They learned so much and had the best time exploring. A huge thank you to the Kansas City Royals for making it such a memorable day! 💙
A Fantastic Day of Celebration and Learning!
What a day it has been! We wrapped up our testing window in the best way possible: with a School-wide Movie Day. It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying a film together alongside their building buddies.
Our fifth graders also had a big morning, concluding their Westward Movement unit with a festive campfire breakfast and some spirited square dancing!
A huge thank you to all the families who helped make these events a success. We couldn't have done it without your support!

Huge cheers for the Class of 2038! 🎓✨ We kicked off the evening with a truly amazing concert. A massive thank you to Mrs. McNair for her hard work with these talented kiddos! We wrapped up the night celebrating our wonderful kindergarteners. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for them! 🌟
Our third graders absolutely rocked it last night! 🎸 They did a fabulous job performing pop classics on their recorders. A huge thank you to Mrs. McNair for her hard work and for putting together such a fun performance!
