We had a wonderful opportunity this morning to show our gratitude and appreciation for our Veterans. This student led assembly was a great tribute to those that have served our country. It was an absolute honor to recognize our Veterans. #WarriorFamily -S. Moore

Today, the cadet teachers visited the Midcontinent Public Library. Early Literacy Specialist and Assistant Branch Manager, Alex Donnavan, taught them about how hearing books read aloud can support early literacy in young children. She also shared how to select a good picture book and how to structure a read-aloud lesson. Before we left, the cadets checked out books to prepare and plan their own read-aloud lessons for their teaching internship.
