Jessica Meyer has been a tremendous addition to our school, bringing positivity, leadership, and her unwavering support for both students and staff. She has taken on the significant role of leading our active Student Council, a group that plays a key part in shaping school culture and community connections. Mrs. Meyer builds strong relationships with her students, encourages them to take risks, and supports them through challenges. She leads by example—staying calm in the chaos, choosing positivity in difficult moments, and consistently doing what is right, even when
no one is watching. Her quiet strength and visible dedication have made a lasting impact on our Warrior Family.

Happy Monday Warriors. I wanted to take a second to recognize our Class of 2025 as they had their Graduation Ceremony last Friday. One of the greatest privileges I get as a High School Principal is having a front row seat to watch this amazing group of Warriors receive the recognition they have each earned. It was a great ceremony with amazing student speeches, a vocal performance by our Lakeside Singers, and an amazing hat toss at the end. #WarriorFamily -S. Moore

Today in Mrs. Carnes Physical Science class, students conducted a Calorimetry Lab to learn how much energy water absorbs from burning different food.
Our seniors have had a busy day today. They started their morning with a Senior slideshow, then graduation practice, then the Warrior Walk through the other Smithville schools, and ending their day with a Senior Picnic. We couldn't be more proud of the Class of 2025. #WarriorFamily -S. Moore
