Thanks to the support of our community in passing the April 2025 bond initiative, exciting improvements are underway at Smithville High School! The entrance, library, and several classrooms are being remodeled to better serve our students.

Missouri students and families interested in the U.S. service academies are invited to Academy Day at Kearney High School on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025. Doors open at 9 a.m.; the program begins at 9:30 a.m. in the KHS Gym (715 19th St, Kearney, MO 64060).
