We’re excited to recognize Tee Mason for his exceptional work in supporting our students and staff. His firm but compassionate approach has been crucial in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment at Smithville High School.
Tee reassures staff that their concerns are heard while also helping students understand that they are seen and heard—but must follow expectations. He handles multiple student interventions daily, always with a smile, a cheerful attitude, and a commitment to seeing the potential in everyone. No matter what challenges arise, Tee starts each day with a clean slate, ready to support our students in making better choices.
One of Tee's standout contributions is the way he leads restorative conversations with students, helping them reflect on their decisions and preparing them for a better future. His firm yet kind demeanor makes him a role model for our students, and even staff members find themselves learning from his positive outlook.
