On Monday, March 27th the Smithville Varsity and Junior Varsity golf teams participated in their first tournament of the 2023 season. The Varsity squad headed to Fred Arbanas GC and participated in the Klint Andrew Memorial Tournament. The field was loaded with 26 competitive teams from around the metro. Smithville Varsity finished in 14th place shooting a team total 362.

The JV squad traveled to Shamrock Hills GC in Lees Summit, MO and participated in the Lees Summit JV Tournament. This tournament was also loaded with 24 competitive JV teams, Smithville finished in 13th place shooting a team total of 398.
