On Monday, April 3rd the Smithville Varsity boys golf team traveled to Platte County, MO to participate in the Pirate 2-Man Scramble Invitational Tournament. The team took home silver with an impressive 2nd place finish out of 17 teams. Smithville combined Landin Neill's and Derek Boyd's score of 67 (4 Under) and Noah Hazen's and Johnny Lamer's score of 68 ( 3 under) for a combined team score of 135. Neill/ Boyd took home a 4th place finish while Hazen/ Lamer finished in 6th place. In addition, Connor Holcomb and Charlie Lamer finished with a score of 81 (10 Over).
