The Smithville XC teams sent their varsity athletes to St. Louis to compete in the Forest Park XC Festival on Saturday, September 11th. Both the boys and girls teams competed in the “Gold Division” on a new course. The course was fast, flat, and dry. Combining the course conditions with great weather and great competition led to a season PR day for the team.
When the dust settled, the boys team edged out Benton High School from Illinois to win the Gold the division title!
Individual Warrior medalists include: Naomi Hunter, Asa Kellner, Carter Massie, Liam Adiar, and Isaac Edson.
