Smithville Warriors Varsity ran off with the lead late in the game in a 15-13 victory over Kearney on Wednesday. The game was tied at nine with Smithville Warriors Varsity batting in the bottom of the fifth when.

Despite falling down by six runs in the sixth inning, Kearney tried to fight back. Kearney scored four runs in the failed comeback on a double by #17 and a single by #18.
