Lily earned Premier Distinction, the highest degree in the National Speech & Debate Association (NSDA) Honor Society! This puts her in the top 3% NSDA members across the nation!
Also, coach Nicki Wagner earned the Donus D. Roberts Coaching Excellence Award in the NSDA Honor Society! Receiving the Donus Award is a remarkable achievement and indicates that Nicki has earned 10,000 coaching points, accumulated by the achievements of her team!

Our Smithville High School Archery Club qualified for Nationals in Kentucky on May 8th - 10th this year in both Bullseye and 3-D! Congratulations Warriors!

Smithville High School's girls soccer team hosted a youth soccer camp today on this cold Saturday morning and we had a large group of up and coming Warriors attend! Nice job girls!

Please come to Smithville High School on Monday, March 17th, for the 8th grade parent night and an activities fair! The activities fair starts at 6:00 in the Cafeteria and the informational session comes afterwards in the Performing Arts Center!

Tristan Waters and Haze Middleton made the podium this weekend at the Class 3 Boys State Wrestling Tournament! They represented the Warriors well! Congrats gentleman!


Taylor Anderson signed to cheer at Ottawa University next year! Congrats, Taylor!




Two of our girls wrestlers ended up on the podium this week at the Class 1 State Tournament! Congrats Virginia and Addie on an awesome season and two wonderful careers!


Smithville High School's DECA team comes away with 10 awards yesterday at their district competition and will be sending 9 out students on to the state competition later this Spring! Nice job Warriors!

We held a Special Olympics basketball event at Smithville High School today and it was amazing! We had three visiting schools come join us and nearly 100 students here helping and celebrating the athletes! Numerous compliments to our staff and students who made this possible!

Our Smithville cheerleaders celebrated their State Championship last night with a ring ceremony at SHS! Congratulations girls! You earned it!
