Today was our first official day of summer classes in the weight room! Over 225 high schoolers in attendance today, that's over 1/4 of the entire student body! Plus an additional 135 middle schoolers as well! Warriors are off to a strong start!

Naomi Hunter is a 4 event state medalist this year in track and field! Earns 1st in the 3200m, 2nd in the 1600m, 7th in the 800, and 6th as the anchor leg of the 4x800m! Might have to check the history books on the last time a 4 event state medalist happened!

Naomi Hunter wins gold in the class 4 3200 m run yesterday with a school record time of 10:58.46! She is the second 3200 m gold medalist in school history! She also anchored the Girls 4x800 team who took 6th, and has two more events today, the 800 and 1600! Congrats Naomi!

Smithville High Schools Jake Kruse earns the Suburban Blue Conference Baseball Player of the Year award to conclude his Senior season!

Shout out to our state track team headed to Jeff City competing tomorrow and Saturday! They had an awesome escort out of town with Smithville's fire department! Let's Go Warriors!

Smithville heads to Harrisonville for the girls soccer district championship! They play Pleasant Hill at 1 p.m. tomorrow in Harrisonville's main stadium! Digital tickets only, purchased on the MSHSAA website!

Our Smithville boys golfers are competing today at Day 1 of the state golf tournament! All five are over half way through the course already.

Due to incoming weather this evening, the district soccer game at Harrisonville vs Center High School has been changed to a 2 pm start. We know this last minute and not ideal, but we felt this was the best option to keep all our athletes safe from the storms.

Great job by our archers at the National Archery tournament in Louisville! Tough competition, but they represented the district like Warriors! Centershot: Bullseye 22nd/67 teams 3D 19th/56 HS teams. NASP: Bullseye 96th/265 teams 3D 52nd/152 HS teams Many new PRs! 🏹
