Children five years of age on or before July 31, 2026, are eligible to enroll in Kindergarten for the 2026-27 school year. Families are encouraged to visit the Smithville School District Boundary Map for confirmation of elementary school attendance area.

The following documents are required for enrollment:

• Student’s birth certificate

• Student’s immunization records

• Proof of residency (current gas, sewer, water or electric bill; lease or real estate contract)
