SHS Class Hosts Remake Learning Days Event

Smithville High School will host a KC STEM Alliance Remake Learning Day on May 6th from 8-11 AM. The Project Research and Design Class has been working with KC STEM Alliance to host an Innovative Learning event for families and youth. The learning festival will be held in the Smithville Main Street District.

Jack Trotter, a Junior in the class stated, “We wanted to take on event planning, so working with KC STEM Alliance has allowed us to partner with other organizations, participate in our community, and gain valuable real world experience.” What began as a client connected project with KC STEM Alliance has quickly evolved into an opportunity for other students, clubs, and organizations at SHS to join us May 6th and get a chance to interact with other kids from the community and participate in Smithville’s Remake Learning Day.
