Smithville School District now has four Certified School Safety Specialists. While attending the Safety Academy put on by MSBA Center for Education Safety our team members received stop the bleed training, and won 3 AEDs (automated external defibrillators) for the School District. Thank you Denise Harwood, Mike Mast, Officer Joe Buchheit, and Officer Chris Mendoza for maintaining school safety as a priority in the Smithville School District!
