Reba McNair - reba mcnair “Reba is an excellent classroom teacher to the students at Maple. She leads with compassion and understanding but also holds them to the high standards necessary in order for them to grow. She creates meaningful, engaging activities for them to demonstrate their learning in creative ways. She also very diligently serves the high school theatre students through her work on the co-curricular musical. She puts in countless hours to adjust music, create resources, and schedule rehearsals in a way that allows students to pursue things they are passionate about outside of theatre. Congratulations to Smithville High School which has been named to the 2024 AP School Honor Roll! SHS earned BRONZE status on the Honor Roll for developing an AP program that creates a college-going culture and provides students opportunities to earn college credit and maximize their college outcomes. In the class of 2024, 44% of seniors took at least one AP Exam during high school, 32% of seniors scoring a three or higher on at least one AP Exam, and 9% of seniors who took five or more AP Exams! #ssdpride
