Amy Elliott is very deserving of the Ultimate Warrior Award! Amy works relentlessly to ensure that students feel safe, supported and are engaged in their learning. Amy creates so many experiments and enrichment projects to help her students truly learn the material, but even more, enjoy what they are doing! Students are excited to go to Mrs. Elliott's class every day and that is because she has created an environment and culture where students thrive and she challenges them to truly engage in ancient cultures and science curriculum. Additionally, Amy is a great teammate, leads by example, forms strong relationships and takes care of the details so everyone feels prepared to be successful. We are so lucky that Amy is a Warrior!

Ms. Jundy is a top notch teacher. She deserves this recognition because of the way she sets up her ELA classroom. She is innovative, hands-on, and creative beyond measure when it comes to making reading and writing educational, yet fun and engaging, too. She makes sure all students leave her room with an abundance of growth each and every year, and all students feel loved by her. She is a team player and a go-getter here at Horizon Elementary, and we are so blessed to have her in Smithville providing knowledge and compassion to our kids! Keep being awesome, Ms. Jundy!
