Yesterday Parents as Teachers hosted an event at the Smithville Fire Station! Children explored the equipment on the fire truck, learned the names of tools and what they are used for, and had an opportunity to ask questions. They also learned about calling 911 and what to do if they hear a fire alarm. Each child received a coloring book, fireman’s badge and hat. Parents as Teachers (PAT) is serving the future warriors of Smithville School District. If you have a baby, toddler or preschooler, we are here to serve your family. PAT is a free early childhood family education program to assist and support families in preparing their children for success in school and beyond. To learn more or enroll, go to https://www.smithvilleschooldistrict.net/o/pt

Good morning from Way Back When-sday. For years, the Student Council has been a crucial part of the responsibilities at Smithville High School. An example of these hardworking students is the Senior Student Council in 1986. Do you know any of these StuCo members?
