Rachel is the true example of what it looks like to be an Ultimate Warrior. She gives 110% of herself to her students, her parents, her team, and her family all of the time. I am grateful to be a member of her second grade team. She has been an amazing mentor to me and has taken much time out of her busy day to teach me and to help me learn and grow as an educator. She spends her own time doing what is best for her students and making sure she meets each student's individual needs in her classroom. She has a heart for teaching and for children and she is passionate about her craft. She is also dedicated to help her colleagues grow and learn as well. She is a real leader at Eagle Heights and we are so lucky to have her. I have grown so much as a teacher thanks to her amazing leadership.

"Even though I do not work on a close team with Mrs. Peterson she is such an asset to Maple. I see how passionate she is about our school family and I appreciate her willingness to share her talents in areas far beyond Speech! If someone needs help with one of their students? Mrs Peterson doesn't hesitate to offer her assistance. Need help laminating a project and short on time? She will jump right in! Short staffed for end of day dismissal duties? I've seen her literally run to assist! Spirit week dress up challenge? Mrs. Peterson is going to crush it! Heather is a joy to have at Maple and we are so, so lucky to work alongside her!"
